Swindon Town Women are delighted to reveal a new away kit ahead of this weekends visit to Exeter City Women FC.
Manufactured by PUMA, our new away kit features the logos of Trust STFC, The Official Swindon Town FC Supporters Club & Somerford Mini on the sleeve who are all key partners of the club.
Trust STFC Chairman Stephen Mytton spoke on behalf of the Trust in sharing his delight in being able to continue the support of the Women’s Club, “Over the past year TrustSTFC has developed a good relationship with Swindon Town Women FC, and so we’re thrilled to be the new sponsors of their away kit.
“Alongside this sponsorship, we will continue to help out with regular funding support, and have appointed former STWFC player Laura Morgan as a Trust Officer to act as our representative for relationships with the Football Supporters Association and with the #HerGameToo initiative.
“All of this underpins our aims to integrate women’s football into the ‘NextGen’ Schools and Youth initiative, being run in conjunction with Swindon Town FC and the Community Foundation. We want to help build the fanbase and inspire both boys and girls to support their local club and to play football in the Swindon Town colours.
“We also want to encourage local businesses to get involved and pledge their assistance to the women’s game, as by working together we can all make a positive impact for Swindon Town women and encourage more girls to play and watch football.”
Laura Morgan of Swindon Town Women FC added, “We are delighted to be able to reveal our new away kit which has kindly been sponsored by Trust STFC.
“The ongoing support of Trust STFC not only sees the new away kit now in place but also continues to allow us to offer the best professional environment to our players and staff with the continued use of the excellent Foundation Park for training. The ongoing commitment allows us to continue to provide the players at the club with multi disciplinary support via our medical and sports science staff.
“We are looking forward as a club to supporting the overall ‘Next Gen’ Schools & Youth initiative whilst also supporting the #HerGameToo initiative and seeing the next generation of club fans come on board across the club alongside the Trust and the Official Supporters Club.”
