Swindon Town Women FC are delighted to announce the formation of a new U16 team to compliment our two established senior teams.
The U16 team are the first step in the creation of a new youth section at the club.
First-team manager Jamie Lloyd Davies said “This is a key component of our vision and to be able to take this step is a great achievement for us a club. We are looking forward to further plans for youth teams in the near future.”
Club player liaison Laura Morgan commented “As the highest achieving Women’s club in Wiltshire it is vital that we provide a pathway for female youth players to represent the club.
“The creation of the U16 side is the first step before we introduce more age groups in coming seasons.”
At Swindon Town Women FC players can look forward to:
• FA & UEFA qualified coaches
