Swindon Town Women FC First Team activity paused.
Following positive COVID-19 test results within the club, Swindon Town Women FC FC First Team will be pausing all football activity for 14 days taking effect from last Sunday 18th October 2020.
Various advice and guidance has been sought in the past few days and the club have acted quickly to protect its members. With strict COVID-19 protocols in place within the club, the Development Team are able to continue to train and play without any additional restrictions being put in place.
Vice Chairman Mike Dixon commented “The health and welfare of all connected to the club has to be our primary concern, so we have taken immediate steps to ensure that we can to help to avoid transmission of the virus any further.”
With this announcement it confirms that this Sunday’s FA Women’s National League game scheduled with Southampton Women’s FC is postponed with the next First Team fixture set for Sunday 8th November 2020.
