Swindon Town Women Football Club are delighted to confirm the appointment of Michael Peacock as the new Lead Strength and Conditioning Coach.
Michael, who joins the club for the 2020/21 season, has a wealth of experience in Strength and Conditioning roles having been in the industry for 10 years and has previously worked at Swindon Town FC and Leyton Orient FC.
Michael’s time is now split between his Lead Strength and Conditioning roles at Swim England and GB Wheelchair Rugby, as well as his work for the English Institute of Sport.
Commenting on his appointment, Michael said: “I am absolutely delighted to join Swindon Town Women FC. The areas I work in play a huge role in achieving maximum performance levels, in preventing injury and ensuring a high level of player availability.”
“I am looking forward to meeting the squad in the coming weeks, but the work has already started in educating and supporting the players whilst at home.”
“Myself and the other performance staff at STWFC, will work together and do all we can to help our players achieve their own objectives as individual athletes and help the team as a whole deliver success.”
